I. The stems of peanut plant were treated with the following 5 methods on 60 days after the first blooming : (1) The stems were stamped down at the base. (2) The apical bud, it will grow up main stem, was pinched about one week after the germination, and other stems were treated with the method (1). (3) Some soil was put on the part of stems having gynophores. (4) Super phosphate of lime was supplied on the field and then the method (3) was done. (5) Slaked lime was supplied on the field and then the method (3) was done. II. The number of flowers was positively correlated with maximum temperature. (1) In each blooming period, the number of flowers was effected by the maximum temperature on the two days before the blooming day. (2) In the early blooming period, the number of flowers was effected by the maximum temperature on the day before the blooming day. (3) In the final blooming period, the number of flowers was effected by the maximum temperature on the three days before the blooming day. III. The number of flowers was positively related to minimum temperature in the final blooming period, particularly, it was associated with the minimum temperature of blooming day, and of its day before. IV. When the plant was becoming to sufficent growth or heavy weight of the stems by the best blooming period, the total weight of perfect grains increased, V. It showed a tendency to increase products, when the plant has many flowers on the next day of the highest temperature day in the blooming period. VI. By the highest temperature day among the annual average temperature, when the plant had many more flowers, the perfect grains increased. VII. To supply slaked lime on the fruiting zone and to stamp the stems, are one of the incraesing methods for the bunch type peanut plant.
