It is said that is similar to that in the 1920's about the economic conditions in recent years. A structure reform in recent years has the same meaning as business circles consolidation in the 1920's, which was the biggest economic subject. As politically, the subject was whether to put that into action at once. And business circles consolidation was the problems of the same seed as gold standard return, which was put off by successive governments in those days. So, as the depression was prolonged, it was learning to think that a return to gold standard is necessary to revive the economy. Then, that result caused Showa panic. Why did the government give such a choice? In this paper, I want to try to search an economic process in the 1920's, putting a point of view in the gold standard return and the financial policy. It is because that is thought to be a certain background to consider an economic problem in recent years.
