Taking into account our technical studies of roof garden done in 2000, this paper is the outline of the research on roof greenery in 2001. It is to look for the vision of roof greenery in Japan in the context of urban environmental design, by compared the roof greenery case studies in Japan with ones in Germany which has developed the advanced roof garden. And in this research, it is to collect and analyze basic date about the Hill of Creativity at our campus constructed for low maintenance, to keep the Green Study Meeting and research network which held the symposium for the citizen enlightenment of roof garden, and to open the information of roof greenery to scholars and the public on the internet.
