In this paper I have introduced and analyzed Joan Robinson's argument on Marx's labour theory of value and her discussion on the debates of the transformation problem. It is well known that she criticized the significance of Marx's labour theory of value and the argument on the transformation problem, nevertheless she has discussed the value measurement by labour, has taken the position that it is important for theoretical analysis to use the commanded labour theory of value and has stood, in fact, on the view that it is necessary for economic theory to construct a theoretical bridge between the value system and the price system. After analizing her papers on this theme I would like to show three points. The first point is in that the value system is not measured by embodied labour but bestowed labour in whole, the second point follows that the price system is in a sense measured by commanded labour, and the last point stands in that the bridge of two system is newly bestowed labour in whole. We must have got full meaning of the labour theory of value.
