• I Introduction-An aspiration for the Society for the Study of History of the Sceince of Business Administration. Reviewing our present situations of the world of the science of business administration, many books and articles what are published monthly are too many for us to read all in detail. It seems to be glad phenomena to our academic world. Is it really so? It goes without saying that these are many antagonistic theories in our present academic world. For example, German School insists on the managerial economics theory. Centrally to this American School insists on the principles of management theory. Moreover the management theory jungle grows thickly in American academic world. Then we can't but perplex which way we ought to go. Which way must we make our choise among these many theories? There is no way, I believe, except to follow the historical and critical study of German and American theories. Famous Geothe says "the history of a science is the science itself." This tells the reason why the establishment of the Society for the Study of History of the Science of Business Administration is aspirated sincerely besides Japan Society for the Study of Business Administration. Contents of my article are as follows. II The comparative study of German and American theories III The critical study of them and the discovery of the real way to the Science of Business Administration IV Conclusion-the congratulation and heavy responsibilities to develope the Society established.
