Denote by [M ⊂ R^m] the set of isotopy classes of embeddings of an n-manifold M in Euclidean m-space. In this note, we shall study the set [M ⊂ R^{2n-k}] for k=2 and 3 in the case when M is an n-manifold satisfying the condition \tilde{H}_i(M;Z)⊗Z_2=0 for i<k, and generalize some results in [15] and [19].
