Activities in the CdCl_2-PbCl_2 system at 963 K and in the Pb-PbS system at 1373 K have been determined by a new technique of "Two Component Evaporation-Transportation Method." In this new method, successive evaporation experiments are carried out for A-B binary solutions, with the gas leaving at equilibrium. The decreases in constituent amounts n_A and n_B in a solution are measured and plotted in the graph of log (n_B/mol) vs. log (n_A/mol). The data on the graph are then fitted to the following expression [numerical formula] using both the Gibbs-Duhem equation and the following relation [numerical formula] The compositional change of a solution through evaporation runs is one of the serious problems in usual cases. However this new method is free from the difficulties arising from such compositional change. The results can be expressed by the following equations : (log γ_<CdCl_2>)/X^2_<PbCl_2>=(log γ_<PbCl_2>)/X^2_<CdCl_2>=-0.119 for the CdCl_2-PbCl_2 system at 963 K and (log γ_<Pb>)/X^2_<S_2>=-13.00+107.79 X_<S_2>-230.75 X^2_<S_2>, log γ_<S_2>=34.23+(-312.82+507.55 X_<Pb>-230.75 X^2_<Pb>) X^2_<Pb> for the Pb-PbS system at 1373 K.
