1. Surveies on the nutriments of crews of the fishing boats of the small and steam trawlers in the East China Sea were done at the port of Fukuoka and Tobata. 2. At the port of Fukuoka, sampling out 50 groups of boat out of 200, the nurishments of 677 crews, which were taken on the voyage durning 1058 days, were estimated. The same estimation of the nurishments of 348 crews on the voyage of 399 days were done at the port of Tobata sampling out 18 boats out of 23. 3. Comparing with the nurishments of the general labourers, those of these crews were superior in protein, fat and phosphorus to a marked degree, but was somewhat inferior in calcium and there was a great shortage of vitamine A. 4. These due to the fact that the crews take much fish-meat and their foods are scare in greens. 5. A great care has to be excercised to combine suitable foods, especially to taken on the boats plenty of greens.
