This paper is based on the participant observation and interviews with an elementary school teacher and tries to clarify the contents of the collaboration in curriculum development. According to research materials, the characteristics of the collaboration are as follow; 1 The collegiality is indispensable for the search for collaboration. 2 The teachers' belief of search for collaboration is involved in curriculum development. 3 There are private beliefs in curriculum development. These beliefs converge collective belief that is jointed by school teachers through curriculum development. 4 The curriculum development needs the common of collective belief as the search for collaboration. Secondly, the fundamental guidelines to the curriculum development of comprehensive studies are as follow; 1 We must cultivate complete beliefs as a principles of life with affirmative self in our school. 2 We must establish an active feeling of mission with self-esteem and efficiency in our school. Finally, the curriculum development of comprehensive studies through this case study holds the key of the common of complete beliefs for the search for collaboration. And the essential understand of collaboration through ethnography bring out possibility of the revolution in school cultures that is obstructive factors of curriculum development in our school.
