It is apparent that the parents and siblings of disabled are effected in various ways. To have positive effects, it is necessary to improve welfare services and the education system, to have understanding and support for siblings by parents and the surrounding people and to have mutual cooperation.There are three methods of mutual sibling support.Firstly, in the period of childhood, siblings participate in the events and camps by the associations of parents, and they enjoy activities with many siblings and various disabled. These activities are precious experiences and link with siblings' support. The associations of parents set up each sibling group for children as one branch and have to activities for siblings only. It is the main task that the associations have cooperation of adult siblings, because adult siblings can lead the sibling groups and function as key persons.Secondly, adults' siblings set up sibling group by themselves and they support each other. They campaign for improving welfare services and the educational system, and furthermore publish books to enlighten parents and professionals. These activities link with sibling support. In one group, a main activity is talking with each other as a self‐help group.Thirdly, adult siblings, professionals and parents provide “sibshop program" for children.
