We present a getter-embedding screen-printed carbon nanotube cathode made by embedding non-evaporable getter fine powders into a carbon nanotube paste. The composite have uniform field emission and sufficient adsorption speed, and is advantageous for in-situ pumping during bake-out as well as maintaining uniform vacuum levels in the large flat panel field emission displays.
