In this report, we propose the design of a three-dimensional light beam deflector having a planar electrode structure suitable for fabricating an integrated device. Multiple-prism electrodes are used to deflect the light beam horizontally, and vertical deflection is realized by inducing a space-charge-controlled electrooptic effect.
