We developed a low-crosstalk, narrow-linewidth guided-wave acoustooptic filter. To decrease the sidelobe level, cascaded filters with different mode converter lengths and conversion strengths were used. We attained a sidelobe level below -20 dB using the device in which the first- to second-stage mode converter length ratio was 0.8, and attained a transmission peak full width at half-maximum of 1 nm.
