A two-dimensional phase diagram of the neodymium-on-molybdenum (110) system obtained from the measured superstructures is newly presented in this paper. All structural investigations were performed by reflection high-energy electron diffraction (RHEED) analysis. Nine types of superstructures, namely, the ($14\times 2$), ($13\times 2$), ($11\times 2$), ($8\times 2$), ($6\times 2$), $c(6\times 2)$, $c(4.5\times 2)$, and $c(5\times 3)$ two-dimensional structures and a one-dimensional periodic structure, appeared for adequate film thicknesses and a range of substrate temperatures.
