As a polarizer is structuralized from a triple to dual layer eliminating one of the triacetylcelloce (TAC) films on one side of the liquid crystal (LC) panel, the influence on the optical characteristics of the compensation film based on the inclined optical indicatrix for the TACless structure has been investigated. It was confirmed that the compensation film for the TACless structure called the "TACless compensation film" has as the optical characteristics of an inclined optical indicatrix which has uniaxial negative birefringence to twisted-nematic liquid crystal displays (TN-LCDs). Moreover, we found out that the angle of inclination ($\theta$) of the TACless compensation film decreased from 21.4° to 15.5° and that the retardation value ($R_{\text{in}}$) of the TACless compensation film increased from 103 nm to 133 nm. Therefore, in the same way as for the old compensation film, we determined that the optical parameters of the TACless compensation film are also designed as the optical characteristics of the inclined optical indicatrix, which has uniaxial negative birefringence.
