Small magnetic anisotropy $\Delta\chi$ above $4\times 10^{-8}$ emu/g are obtained for various solid crystals by measuring the rotational oscillations of the samples at field between 0.108 T (1080 G) and 0.185 T (1850 G) produced by a horseshoe magnet. Oscillations are observed for biotite, calcite, enstatite, forsterite, graphite, muscovite, talc and urea. $\Delta\chi$ exceed $10^{-8}$ emu/g for many of the unmeasured materials according to a model proposed on the origin of anisotropy. Efficiency of magnetic alignment can be examined effectively over an immense number of nonmagnetic materials in various facilities, since $\Delta\chi$ is easily detected by a simple setup which does not require an electromagnet.
