The purpose of this study was to investigate preferences in 20 clothes types that housewives and working women would wear in every day situations.The results showed that clothing types fell into two categories : those worn at home and those worn outside the home in the neighborhood.Both housewives and working women tended to wear skirts rather than casual jeans or pants when they went out.Fashionability, practicality and casualness were examined and found to be significant.<BR>At home working women were more likely to choose casual comfortable clothes while housewives attached more importance to fashionability.
