The variational and minimum principles have been derived by using the Carson transform for the linear quasi-static viscoelastic solids. The minimum principles have been applicable to the inhomogeneous and aisotropic solids requiring no restriction conditions to separate the spatial and temporal variables. Moreover, the upper and lower bounds of relaxation and creep tensors have been determined by applying the minimum principles and Carson transform to the viscoelastic multiphase materials.
