Intravenous administration of T-1220 was made for 15 patients, including 3 infected lesions, with daily dose of 2 to 4 g for 5 to 16 successive days after the surgery.<BR>Response was good in 11 cases, who had partial gastrectomy, radical mastectomy, excision of thyroid tumor and some others, and was fair in 2 cases who underwent partial gastrectomy. In remaining 2 patients received laparotomy, the therapeutic effect was not observed. Thus the effective rate was evaluated as 73.3%. General eruption, being considered to be a side effect of the drug, appeared in only one case among these 15 subjects.
