The effects of factors such as diameter, length, density, initial inclination angle and initial angular velocity of a slender body, feed tube's position, rotating speed of the rotor on the motion of a slender body were studied analytically and experimentally. The results obtained were as follows : (1) The diameter, density of a slender body, feed tube's position have an important effect upon the radial position of a slender body, but little effects on the inclination angle and angular velocity of a slender body. (2) The initial inclination angle and angular velocity at whith a slender body enters into the rotor, have an important effect upon the inclination angle and angular velocity of a slender body, respectively. (3) The length of a slender body has no effect upon the motion of a slender body. (4) The rotating speed of the rotor has more effect than anything else on the motion of a slender body.
