Vertebral Venography is a diagnostic techique in which the vertebral system of veins is demonstrated by means of an injected constrast medium.Eighteen patients, all of whom were studied with venography, myelography and surgical exploration have been evaluated. In our experience vertebral venography demonstrates laterally placed disc lesions best and may fail to demonstrate a centrally placed disc protrusion.
