• Steindler flexorplasty at the elbow was performed on seven patients of plexus brachialis injury and one patient of arthogryposis multiplex congenita.Follow-up research after the operation extended from six months to seven years and six months (three years and one month on the average). Analysis of the results after the operation was made in the range of motion and muscle strength at the elbow, according to Mayer and Green's method.All patients of plexus brachialis injury had good results, but three of them showed the loss of supination of the forearm. The patient of arthrogryposis multiplex congenita had poor result, but he felt comfortable because he could bring his hand to his face.
