The femoral subtrochanteric fractures requires exact reduction and rigid internal fixation. In our hospital, Judet's condyle plate was applied to 20 fractures from 1971. The age of patients ranged from 19 to 88 years. 11 cases were caused by motor accident and 3 were pathological. 14 cases except for pathological fractures gained fracture healing at 5-8 months after operation.Re-operative 5 cases were added Judet's décortication.
