We reviewed seven cases (eight ankles) with the diagnosis of osteochondritis disscecans or osteochondral fracture of the talus.Four patients were male and three were female. In four patients the lesions were on the left, in two patients on the right and one patient on the bilateral. Five ankles had a history of trauma.There were five medial, and three lateral lesions of the talus.Seven lesions were treated operatively: five were treated curettage and drilling, one by curettage and auto genous bone graft, and one by fixation with bone peg.Seven lesions which were treated by operation had good results. One patient had only follow-up observation without any treatment.
