Pediculated vascularized fibula graft was performed in three patients with a bone defect of the tibia. Pathogenesis of diseases were bone defect or pseudoarthrosis after trauma in two, and bone defect after osteomyelitis in one. The follow up ranged from 18 months to 36 months.All three patients went on to primary bone union and were able to weight completely.Pediculated vascularized fibula graft has some advantages. It requires no microvascular technical skills and can be used even in the presence of a scar of the anterior aspect of the leg because it does not require anterior exposure.
