In a manufacturing unit of sulfuric acid by DCDA process one fine morning profused emission of sulfur oxide gases from the stack of the sulfuric acid plant continues for several minutes as the cause for emission could not be detected by the officials of the control room immediately. The emitted gases not only affect the nearby inhabitances but also affect the plants and environments. This paper deals with the problems caused for the abnormal emission of sulfur oxide gases and its solution.
