• In the previous instalment in this series, and equation of selvage during the process of weaving was suggested in relation to the warp and weft tensions theoretically.<BR>In the present instalment, the equation is investigated experimentally on many kinds of fabrics by varying the tension. The angle θ between the selvage curve and the take-up direction is discussed. It helps much in fixing the inclined angle of a temple-ring.
