• Results:<BR> (1) The shape of the shed is not straight but curved at about 380 r.p.m. with the flying shuttle type. It has been found that the curve of warps i s due to yarn weight, air resistance, inertia force, irregularities of letting off and take up, etc.<BR> (2) Experimental results on the model machine agree well with the curve on the actual power loom.
