• The author has deviced a method capable of changing freely the magnitude and type of the pressure of flyer presser, and it is now possible to make experiments on the effect of the pressure of presser on roving.<BR>The effect of the pressure of presser shows clearly when the winding number of rovings at the presser paddle is one, but not so clearly when the number exceeds two, being disturbed by other factors which are not certain.<BR>Moreover, it is clear that the winding draft affects the weight of roving greatly, while, speaking on the winding tension, its average value affects the weight.
