• An attempt has been made to measure the bulkiness of a yarn bundle by using the frictor discussed in part 4. <BR> Major results obtained are : (1) The factors affecting the bulkiness of yarn bundle have been classified into following terms : (a) the number of yarns (weight of yarn), yarn count, (b) the nap of yarn, (c) the twist coefficient for single and double yarns ; and (e) the spinning process. (2) The properties of bulkiness of synthetic, natural and their blended yarns have been compared with each other.
