The drug resistance test for tubercle bacilli is being made in many countries by use of Löwen stein-Jensen medium, whereas in this country it is made usually by use of 1% Ogawa medium (usually for indirect method, but also for direct me thod in our laboratory. It is now desirable to know is the relation between the data on these two media. The purpose of this study is to deal with this.
