The nomographic method of fluorescent X-ray spectrometry, which had been proposed by the author to control daily variations of the calibration curve, was also found to be valiable for the comparison of various calibration curves obtained with different measuring conditions in view of linear sensibility changes of these calibration curves. Non-linear calibration curves in the nomographs were analyzed to have non-linear sensibility changes.<BR>Variations of calibration curves were discussed. on the difference of sample holder and X-ray. tube voltage for the determination of Mo in stainless steel. Such a comparison was even possible of Mo calibration line in stainless steel with Ni line in low alloy steel, and from it arose a possibility of Mo determinations with an independent Ni calibration curve.<BR>Further discussions of fluorescent X-ray intensities were made on the sensibilities of calibration curves for Mo and Ni. Excitation conditions seemed to be more critical in Mo line intensities, whereas %-dependability to be more prominent in Ni.
