• Analysis was made on the 34 cases of colonic diverticula.<BR>Microangiography war performed to the resected specimen in order to study the relationship between vascular architecture and herniated mucosa. The subgross pathology was also observed stereoscopically by using transillumination technique.<BR>One case of Marfan's syndrom associated with multiple jejunal and colonic diverticula was repored. Experimental study was made using rat fed by BAPN, and tensile strength of the colon was measured.<BR>Complications of colonic diverticulosis and operative results was reported with a review of literatures.
