10 ewes were devided into four groups for two years, and the variations of characters between these ewes wools were studied.4 groups were mulberry leaf group, mulberry leafhay group, Sansa (litters of sericulture) group and standard group.conclusions are as follows.(1) The wool of Sansa group becomes richer in wool grease year after year.(2) Wools grow rapidly in the mulberry leaf and Sansa groups, especially in the mulberry leaf group.(3) The diameter of the wool increases especially in the mulberry leaf group year after year, and in the Sansa group crimps also increases in addition. But correlation between nutrimental conditions and these characteristics is not simply expressed by increasings of the body weight.(4) In all groups, tensile strength and percentage of elongation in breaking time grow larger year after year.
