Luteoayamenin, C28H82O16, mp 185-187°C, a new C-glycosyl flavone, was isolated together with flavoayamenin, swerisin and sweriajaponin from ethanol extracts of petals of Iris Nertshinskia LODDIGES form. albiflora HONDA. The chemical structure of this luteoyamenin was 2"-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-6-C-β-D-glucopyranosyl-7-O-methyl-luteolin. Flavoayamenin was formulated as 2"-O-β-D-glucopyranosyl-6-C-β-D-glucopyranosyl-7-O-methyl-apigenin.
