桁間衝突用ゴム製緩衝材の静的圧縮剛性と形状率に関する研究

In order to improve earthquake resistance, bearings of bridge structures have been replaced by rubber bearings. When the rubber bearings are used, the displacement of superstructure increases. So, it is expected that the frequency of the pounding phenomena will become large. Therefore, in order to reduce the impact force during a collision, the shock absorbing rubber is necessary. In this paper, we carried out a static compression test of shock absorbing rubber in order to investigate the relationship between compression stiffness and shape factor of shock absorbing rubber. Shape factor is defined by the ratio of the pressed area to the free surface area. From the test results, it is found that the compression stiffness is in inverse proportion as square of shape factor.
