A friendly robot, which has the interface with a man, will play a very important role in the near future. This kind of a robot is expected to do various works in our society. Authors developed a robot which presented introduction of the department of mechanical engineering to high school students on the open campus day. This paper describes system configurations, control and performance methods and design concepts of the robot. This robot is 1600 mm in height and 110kg in weight. This robot shows promotion video by a display at the head and does performance with motions and LED lighting.
