We present an explicit realization of the classic experiment onBrownian motion that is appropriate for undergraduate education. The philosophyof the experiment basically follows that of Einstein. In particular, we formulatethe experiment so that it can be performed by students in humanities and socialsciences meaningfully. The set up and various parameters that facilitate theexperiment without losing its essence are investigated and discussed. Theexperiment is currently being employed successfully in undergraduate educationfor students in humanities and social sciences, at Keio University.
