In USSR, modern natural sciences in capitalism countries were critically reviewed as idealism after A. Deborin was critisized around 1930. This new situations were directly introduced into Japanese Marxists and gave mostly negative effects on the studies of dialectics of nature. For example, Jun Ishihara (1881-1947), a pioneer physicist in the field of theory of relativity and quantum mechanics in Japan, was attacked by Japanese materialists because of his opinion that idea also make important role in quantum mechanics as well as observational facts. This opinion was regarded as an idealism by materialists at that time. However, Soviet materialism was questioned by some Japanese materialists in the course of studies on dialectics of nature. For example, Kunio Oka (1890-1971) emphasized importance of formal logic against the opinion that formal logic is synthesized into dialectics by Soviet materialists. The author claims that Oka's opinion is suitable and he was able to arrive at correct conclusions because he had been a physicist before he became to be a philosopher.
