A. Deborin's work "Materialistic dialectics and natural science" that is the first recommendation on F. Engels' idea of dialectics of nature was translated into Japanese and published in 1927. Studies on relation between dialectics of nature and natural science in Japan were much improved after this translation. Before this translation some Japanese materialists supported the idea of dialectics of nature and others did not. On the other hand, debate about materialistic dialectics and philosophy was performed under leadership by J. Stalin in USSR. A. Deborin was criticized and attacked. An idea that natural science in capitalism country is in the way of crisis was much emphasized. This new situation was directly introduced to Japanese marxists, and arose negative emphasize of ideology to study of natural science together with positive emphasize of N. Lenin's contributions to development of marxist philosophy. Various Japanese papers on dialectics of natural science that were written during early years of Showa Age are critically reviewed in this paper.
