In providing care for dementia patients, the state of "relation tailored to individual patients" should be investigated. In promoting such investigation, the viewpoint of eliminating comfortlessness from individual patients is required. As a requirement for helping them break away from such comfortlessness, it should be recognized that individual dementia patients are beings having severalty. At the same time, as a means to recognize it, the logicality of such relation, including why, when, where, who and how the relation should be developed, should be defined. This is because the relation is expected to bring out its significance, cause, necessity and meaning.
