Electronic circuitry, an important and specialized subject, should be mastered by all means in electronics andelectrical engineering courses. The author reports adequate contents and levels of the subject to be taught, in addition toteaching methods and textbooks developed by the author through trial and error while supervising analog electronic circuitdesign education at a Japanese national college of technology. Examples of class progress using three teaching methodsare reported herein: classroom lectures, exercises using a simulator, and production and measurements using an actualmachine. Noteworthy points for the class to remember are also explained. Results of questionnaires obtained from thestudents were analyzed, textbooks were prepared, and teaching methods were assessed. Suggested points of improvementare also discussed.
