地域日本語教室における外国人支援者の役割 : 鳴門国際交流協会日本語教室の場合

In recent years, the number of foreigners in Japan is increasing, and the significance of the local Japanese classroom is emphasized. In the local Japanese classroom, in addition to the conventional form "Japanese support foreigners", the form "foreigners who can speak Japanese support foreigners" is also being seen. The latter form will be especially important in the future, but the role of the foreign supporters is not clarified still enough. In this paper, we clarify following points through the interview to the Chinese students of the local Japanese classroom. ・About the form of support, all students expect the support in the pairs of Japanese and Chinese supporters. ・About use of the students' native language, all students expect that the supporters use Japanese as much as possible except for the explanation of the difficult grammar. ・The students in the beginner class expect the native pronunciation to the Japanese supporters. In addition, the students in the middle class expect the explanation of the grammar by plain Japanese and the conversation practice to the Japanese supporters. ・The young students expect the Japanese used in the daily life and the Japanese culture/custom to the Japanese and Chinese supporters.
