• This article focuses on the role of ASEAN taking the lead about the appearing East Asia area regionalism and the economic integration problem. In terms of the economic integration, especially, it considers about the economic area principle as the long-term goal of which is an East Asia collective and the cooperation in ASEAN + Japan, China and Korea (ASEAN+3). It makes the political phase of the economic community. . For the profit, which occurs with the area cooperation to divide, it places relation between the competition and the cooperation between ASEAN and every country with the political phase. By game theories among 4 persons, its games organize an East Asia area principle from the viewpoint of ASEANJ-s diplomacy. As a result, it is the overwhelming and predominant relation of the U.S. that influenced and clarified the political phase of the East Asia collective. East Asia overcoming regional politics of power and interest can be one of the problems, which is necessary to build the East Asia Community.
