Three compounds were isolated from the seeds of Astragalus complanatus R. Br. (Chinese name, sha yuan zi). On the basis of the physicochemical evidences their structures were identified as rhamnocitrin-3-O-glucoside 1, 7,3'-dihydroxy-4'-methoxyisofiavone-7-O-glucoside (calycosin-7-O-glucoside) 2 and 7-hydroxy-4'-methoxyisoflavone-7-O-glucoside (ononin) 3.
