Three flavonoids, i.e. naringenin, apigenin and kaempferol and two new flavone diglycosides identified as apigenin 7β- or 4'β-_D-glucopyranosyl-4-O-β-_D-glucopyranoside and kaempferol 3-dirhamnoside were isolated from pollen grains of Alnus sieboldiana. These flavone diglycosides were isolated from pollen grains for the first time.
