One new cardenolide and four new cardenolide glycosides were obtained along with nine known compounds from A sclepias syriaca h. (Asclepiadaceae). The structures of these glycosides were determined based on spectral and chemical evidence. These new glycosides were 3β,5α-cardenolides having 6-deoxy-β-D-allopyranose.
