For infants who are in a salient mental and physical growing period, preschool musiceducation plays a crucial role among other areas because music can help create the cadenceof their daily lives (Preschool music education belongs to an area of "Expression" which isone of five areas in childcare education). However, questions have been raised whetherstudents in childcare pre-service training have fully understood this important fact, sincetheir actual music skills obtained in preschool music education are barely satisfactory priorto their practicum. It is, therefore, one of the largest responsibilities of training institutionsof childcare specialists to develop and offer better learning opportunities and curriculumcontent to people intending to become childcare teachers.In this study, one practice was introduced as a case study to improve practicalclassroom ability of music skills among students in preschool music education at a preservicechildcare training institution. Results of a questionnaire from nurses at childcarefacilities were incorporated into the development of materials for the preschool musiceducation. After these materials were used in the practicum at these childcare facilities, asurvey was conducted with the trainee students to determine to what extent they wereeffective and useful in the classroom. In analyzing the results, four perspectives were madein each of two sections: one in teaching current preschool music classes at childcaretraining institutions, and another in developing materials for preschool music education.
