In recent years, many interesting works on hull form optimization based on CFD method have been done to reduce the resistance, most of which were carried out at one speed point. To some ships that have different working conditions, single point optimizations usually are not enough to get satisfaction result because of possible higher resistance at another speed point different from the optimizing point. In this case, the hull form should be optimized on the multi-objective system. In this paper, a multi-objective model is put forward to optimize the ship hull form, and a kind of Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithms (MOGAs) is adopted to resolve the model. In calculation, the Rankine source method is used to evaluate the wavemaking resistance. As two examples, the model is used to optimize the resistance of Wigley hull and Series 60 ship hull at two speeds.
