In this paper, the effect of the distributed nonlinearity under the standing wave condition is investigated in comparison with the conventional impedance matched method, which is carried out by the FDTD simulation and experiment. It is confirmed that the reverse-PIM is observed as the sum of the distributed PIM sources in a standing wave condition. The effectiveness of the vertical probe is also verified by calculation in the inspection of a microstrip line in the probe method.
